Archer Aviation and United Airlines planned a 2025 air taxi route from O'Hare to Vertiport Chicago, announced March 2023. Archer's focus on Los Angeles (LA28 Olympics) and New York through 2025-2026 has pushed the Chicago O'Hare route out. No new construction milestones as of May 2026.
