Overview
Skyports Infrastructure and the City of Gold Coast signed an MoU in May 2026 to explore commercial Advanced Air Mobility and a future vertiport network ahead of the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Skyports is expected to support regulatory work, urban planning, site identification and landowner engagement. This improves confidence versus the earlier Sea World Helicopters/Skyportz concept, but it remains a planning-stage program rather than a confirmed operating network.
